From your first call, Bet-Olam funeral directors will support you to plan and organise every step of the way.
Bet-Olam service fees include all the services typically associated with a funeral to ensure your loved one is laid to rest in a meaningful way that honours both their memory and Jewish traditions.

Our service fees include:
- 24-hour/365-day service to bring your family member into our care
- Headstone – the inscription is additional, and Bet Olam can help with the writing if necessary
- Personal Arrangement Interview to provide advice and plan the funeral, plus other appointments as necessary
- Liaison with cemeteries, crematoria, government departments, clergy, newspapers, and other parties as appropriate
- Officiating Rabbi or Cantor
- Collection of Interim Death Certificates from doctor or hospital
- Preparation and lodgement of all necessary documentation (including registering the death with Births, Deaths and Marriages, leading to formal Death Certificate)
- Clinical care by qualified professionals
- Hearse and Courtesy coach – seats up to 4
- Delivery to Graveside / Crematorium
- Burial Service at Cemetery / Service at Chapel
- Professional staff to carry and lower the coffin into the grave
- Tahara & Shroud
- Coffin
- Temporary Grave Marker
- Soil from Israel
- Kaddish Cards
- Memorial Candles
- Minyan Service for Members – security fees may apply
- Shloshim Remembrance in PJV synagogues during the first 30 days of mourning
Family members will be invited to attend a Progressive Judaism Victoria (PJV) Synagogue for the Yom Kippur Yizkor Service and an Aliyah on the first yahrzeit at a PJV synagogue.
Our service fees include:

Bet-Olam offers optional services for families who wish them, including travel beyond the metropolitan area of service, should you wish services in another location.

- Clergy costs to/from outside Greater Melbourne
